Sintesis Cd (II)-Imprinted Polymer dengan Ligan Pengkhelat 4-(2-Pyridilazo) Resorcinol untuk Ekstraksi Fasa Padat dan Prakonsentrasi

Abstract


In this research has been successfully synthesized Cd(II)-Imprinted Polymer (Cd-IP) through the polymerization of salicylic acid and formaldehyde in the presenceof metal complexes of Cd(II)-4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol. Comparison of binar ycomplex stoichiometry for Cd and 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol determined using thejob method and the maximum ratio for Cd(II) : PAR obtained 1:1. Synthesis ofCd(II)-Imprinted Polymer was carried out with the thermal polimerisation. Theresults of synthesis were characterized by FTIR with analysis the structure ofpolymers. Cd(II) on Cd(II)-Imprinted Polymer can be removed with a solution ofEDTA 0.05 M. Polymers that have been printing for ions Cd(II) used tocharacterize the retention properties by batch method. The results of synthesis werecharacterized by AAS indicate the maximum adsorption capacity for Cd(II) was200,89 μg/g at pH 6 with a contact time of 80 minutes. Ion Imprinted Polymers wasused repeatedly for the preconcentration and application to 3 times with the percentof recovery not less than 95%. The obtained value of preconcentration factor andthe percent recovery showed that functional materials are well enough to use in thetrace analysis of Cd (II).
