Abstract

Manure decompose faster by using biological. Bacteria, fungi and actinomycetesare a group of microorganisms that decompose organic materials, fungi capable ofgreater than others. The enzymes produced by Trichoderma fungi actsynergistically break down organic matter/manure, produce compost/humus isrelatively stable, containing macro and micro nutrients. Trichoderma fungi alsoproduce plant growth regulators (growth-regulating-factor) that can speed upgermination and plant growth.Experiments using Complete Randomized Design (CRD), which consists of 12treatments: without manure and Trichoderma sp. (control), Trichoderma sp.. withdoses of 10 and 20 g/polybags and manure (chicken, goat and cow) with a dose of50 g/polybags are composted with Trichoderma sp. (0, 10 and 20 g/polybags), eachtreatment was repeated 3 times. Trichoderma sp. isolates TNJ63 is a collection ofthe Laboratory of Biochemistry faculty of Natural Science, University of Riau, andinceptisol taken in the garden experiment Faculty of Agriculture, University ofRiau. The research aims at studying the chemical properties of soil and growth oflettuce that applied manure and Trichoderma sp. separately or together. The results showed that application of manure (chicken, goat and cow) arecomposted with Trichoderma sp. can increase available P. Length and number ofleaf and fresh weight of lettuce highest obtained on application of chicken manure(50 g/polybag) wich decompose with Trichoderma sp. (10 - 20 g), lettuce freshweight increased by 170-176% compared with the control.
