Isolasi dan Karakterisasi Bakteri Endofitik dari Umbi Tanaman Dahlia (Dahlia variabilis )

Abstract

Seven endophytic bacterial isolates were isolated from dahlia tubers from PadangPanjang, West Sumatera and Saribudolok district, North Sumatera. Endophyticbacteria were isolated on nutrient agar added with ketoconazole 0.3g/100ml toinhibit the fungal growth. Endophytic bacteria were characterizied by macroscopic,microscopic and also biochemical test. Morphologically, two isolates were grampositive and five isolates were gram negative. Biochemical test showed that sixisolates were catalase positive, six isolate were amylase positive and five isolateswere inulinase positive. Seven endophytic bacterial isolates were identified asBacillus coagulans LBKURCC58, Pseudomonas stutzeri LBKURCC59,Acinetobacter antratus LBKURCC60, Bacillus pantothenticus LBKURCC61,Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans LBKURCC62, Alcaligenes faecalisLBKURCC63 and Alcaligenes odorans LBKUR-CC64.
