Abstract


This research aimed to determine the effect of the interaction between cellulolyticmicroorganisms and inorganic fertilizers on the growth of immature oil palm plan-tations. This research has been conducted in PT.Tunggal Perkasa Plantation AirMolek, District Pasir Penyu, Riau. This study use Factorial Completely Rando-mized Design with three replication, the first factor is cellulolytic microorganismscomposed of 4 levels (0 mL / plant, 10 mL / plant, 20 mL / plant, 30 mL / plant)and the second factor was inorganic fertilizer treatment consisting of 2 levels (halfthe recommended dose and 3/4 the recommended dose). The results showed thatthe interaction of cellulolytic microorganisms and doses of inorganic fertilizershave significant effect on the increase in the number of midrib and circumferenceof stem. Cellulolytic microorganisms gave significant effect on plant height incre-ment, while the inorganic fertilizers showed significant effect on the increase of thecircumference of stem and number of leaflets.
