Pengaruh Pemberian Molibdenum (Mo) terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Pr oduksi Kedelai

Abstract


The Mo is essential for plants, molybdenum cofactor (Moco) forms active site ofall eukarotic Mo enzymes. Nitrate reductase enzyme is available in all plants,which is needed to change NO3- taken by plant to NH3. In legume, Mo is nitroge-nase enzyme component, that is needed in changing N2 become NH3, hat is why Mois very needed in N fixation process. With C, H, and O, sometimes S, NH3 formamino acid whether or not containing S, amino enzyme, nucleate acid, chlorofil,alkaloite and purin base. That is why Mo is very important in forming protein andchlorofil. The research was conducted in green house of universitas Riau Agricul-ture Faculty. Ultisol soil was taken from Rumbai Pesisir region, Pekanbaru city in 0– 20 cm depth. The analysis of soil chemical characteristic before conducting re-search was done in Balai Penelitian Tanah Bogor. The research was arranged incomplete random design consisted of six treatment : 0, 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000g NH4-molybdate/ha, each treatment was treated three times. The aim of this re-search is to study the effects of application of NH4-molydate to crop growth andSoybean yield. The result showed that aplication of 600 g NH4- molybdate/ha haveimproved the crop growth and increased the soybean yield by 65,61 % comparedto control.
